Slim's Cocktail Bar and Restaurant

This place is cool. In the heart of St. John’s. Small stage, decent sound system; fine staff. This is a great no B.S. club. They are open to a lot of different kinds of music. Nothing but good things to say about them.

Neighborhood dive with a small stage and bad PA. Staff seems nice, but hospitality is at a minimum. Cramped stage and the PA is set up all crazy; no house soundperson. Money is about what you’d expect (not much). On a positive note, customers will get up and dance once they’ve had enough drinks.
